Bo
November 16, 2003

Got him from their friend Trev
A big ol’ hound was he
Gave the name of Bo to him
He was family

Bo he always minded
Followed Lou around
Got that dog a soccer ball
One that Lou had found

Say Umgawa! Bo play dead
Always loved to please
That big brown dog was your friend
And he could cut the cheese

He loved to play with frisbees
He was pretty quick
Had himself a tennis ball
He liked to fetch a stick

Liked to chase the rabbits
Hound the birds and squirrels
Pulled ol’ ‘Becca in the snow
By sled he drug that girl

Bo got in the trash one day
Ate six cobs of corn
Ya’ know ol’ Bo was quite a hound dog
We’re glad ol’ Bo was born

That dog was real protective
By Lou slept on the floor
When sad he sat beside you
That dog you could adore

Lou took Bo everywhere
He always rubbed his ears
Lou called Bo, “Man’s best friend!”
He loved that dog so dear

Bo got sick one summer day
Lou put Bo to rest
Buried him out in the yard
That is where ol’ Lou wept
